Successful PTU PEACE YOUTH COUNCIL has formally been created to propagate peace amongst the young people of Northern Uganda.
They chose to focus on addressing the new plight, phenomenon of the young people today who abandon homes, decide to live together in rental house in towns and trading centres but engage in drugs, alcohol, looting, robbery and other social violent activities in society!!!!
It’s a great Mission, a great challenge they’re immersing themselves into.
They agreed to do the following to as means of skilling them for the gaol:
Online peace Lectures, spiritual Retreat/Prayers, frequent meetings and project proposal writing!!!
27th August 2022, will be most memorable for this Peace Youth Council
The first meeting and the birth of PTU Youth council was a success yesterday in Kitgum with LCV Kitgum District and Rev. Fr. Leonsyo the Founder of PTU.
